Last week, Ed's nephew (well, he's my nephew too) Jerry came down from Ohio. He just graduated from high school, and he & a bunch of friends were vacationing in Myrtle Beach for the week. A few of them came over for dinner on Tuesday night. Ed was so excited to see Jerry--after all, he practically helped raise him. All of the kids (man I sound old) were grateful for a free dinner...plus we gave them all the leftovers for the next day. Edwin enjoyed playing with his big cousin Jerry too. I tried to upload a few more pictures, but I kept getting an error...so you'll just have to enjoy these three.

In case you were wondering, and even if you weren't, I am still going strong. No coke now for two whole weeks!! I was down another 0.4 lbs this week. I'm taking that as a huge success. I worked out 3 days in the gym, and the other two days at work, I made sure to take the stairs at least three times (up to the 7th floor!).

i'm SO glad that ed got to have his family come over to the house. i know that was probably such a good feeling for him - and to show off your absolutely stinking precious little boy!! ...and umm, no coke? AWESOME. and those stairs - girl, props to ya. i'd be peacing out by the 3rd floor. your legs are made of steal and you must have a spare oxygen tank stored in your purse. ;)
Looks like Edwin enjoyed a visit from his cousin! Did that cake come from Harris Teeters?
Good job on keeping on with the diet and exercise. It's such hard work, but definitely worthwhile!!
BTW...I like the new banner you have on the blog. Cute family pics!
It is great to have vistors, isn;t it!? My kids love it when people visit and they go a little bonkers! :)
